HancVoice vs NaturalReader: which one for voice-overs you publish?

NaturalReader started as a reader app and now also sells a commercial voice generator. HancVoice is a voice-over studio from Vienna with prices in euros. Here is where each one is the better choice.

Short answer

Pick by what the audio is for

Choose NaturalReader if you mainly want to listen to documents and web pages yourself, or need voices in 90+ languages from several AI providers in one place.

Choose HancVoice if you publish what you voice: commercial use is part of every paid plan, the entry price is lower, and you pay in euros without a separate license.

Where NaturalReader is stronger

  • Listening: unlimited listening in the personal plans and reader apps, a different job from making voice-overs.
  • More languages (90+) and voice models from several providers (Gemini, OpenAI, Azure, ElevenLabs) in one account.
  • Up to four cloned voices on every Commercial plan.
  • Team plans with shared credits.

Personal or commercial: the license decides

NaturalReader has two product lines. Its personal plans (Lite, Plus, Pro) are licensed for personal use only: you may listen, but not publish. A video, a course or an ad needs the separate Commercial version, which starts at $29 a month.

HancVoice has one line. Audio made on a paid plan or with a character pack may be used commercially under our terms, including in monetized videos and ads. Rights to the script and to third-party content stay with whoever holds them.

What the price difference means

NaturalReader counts usage in credits and does not say on its plans page how many characters a credit is, so a price per character would be a guess. What can be compared is the entry price for publishing: €9 a month at HancVoice against $29 a month at NaturalReader, or $16.50 a month when paid for a year.

If you voice irregularly, HancVoice character packs work without a subscription: €4.50 for 50,000 characters, which is about 50 minutes of audio.
