How We Achieved a Fast First Response

A fast first response is not magic — it is the sum of engineering decisions. Here is what is under the hood: short texts start playing almost immediately, while long ones are processed in the background.
Chunked streaming
We do not wait for the whole file to be generated: the first sound reaches the user while the model finishes computing the rest. This gives the feeling of an instant reaction at the start, even for long texts (their full synthesis runs in the background with a progress bar).
Streaming output should be tested separately from a regular WAV export.
Caching and warm-up
Frequent phrases and pre-warmed models remove the cold start. Together, that is what delivers a stable, fast start regardless of load.
