By giving this consent you agree to the processing of your voice data to create your own (author) voice. The lawful basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time (Section 4).
Age confirmation: You confirm that you are at least 14 years old (the age of digital consent under § 4(4) DSG, the Austrian Data Protection Act). For voices of minors under 14, the consent of a legal guardian is required.

We process: the voice sample (recording) you provide, the associated reference text, the resulting synthetic voice model, and the derived voiceprint (embedding) and technical parameters.
2. Purpose of processing — explicit and non-biometric
The voice sample and reference text are processed solely to create a synthetic voice model and to synthesize speech — i.e. to turn text you enter into audio (content creation).
Your voice samples and entered texts are not used to train or improve general AI models. They serve solely to create your own (author) voice and to voice your texts.
The voiceprint is used to generate and operate your synthetic voice and is not used to identify you as a person or to match you against external identity databases. Any automated checks for abuse and rights protection serve solely to prevent legal violations and not to identify individuals. No unique identification of a natural person takes place. This is therefore not biometric data for the purpose of unique identification under Art. 9 GDPR; the lawful basis is solely your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
3. What we do — and what we don't do
- Your own voice is private by default and available only in your account.
- The voiceprint is used to generate and operate your synthetic voice and is not used to identify you as a person or to match you against external identity databases. Any automated checks for abuse and rights protection serve solely to prevent legal violations and not to identify individuals.
- We do not sell your voice and do not publish it without a separate Marketplace author agreement that you accept separately.
- Creating a private own voice does not mean publication on the Marketplace.
4. Retention & withdrawal
You may withdraw this consent at any time — via your account or by notice to legal@hancvoice.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
On withdrawal or deletion of the voice, the voice model and the derived voiceprint (embedding) are deleted. The source material (recording, reference text) is deleted in line with a 30-day retention period, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
5. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). You may also withdraw a given consent at any time. Details of the processing, of processors, and of your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: the Data Protection Authority).
