This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on hancvoice.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Among other things they enable browser recognition, the storage of settings and — for optional cookies — audience measurement. We treat comparable technologies in the same way as cookies. In localStorage we only store comfort settings without any personal reference: cookie-consent (your choice), hv-theme (light/dark), proj-layout, railMin, edPanelW, edFocusMode (studio layout), lab-voted (already voted), hv_promo (entered promo code).
2. Legal bases
Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest or to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b) GDPR) and do not require consent. All other (optional) cookies are set exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 165(3) TKG 2021 in Austria or § 25 TTDSG in Germany).
The consent banner presents “Accept" and “Reject" as equally weighted; rejecting is just as easy as consenting.
3. Categories
- Necessary: required for operation, session, security and storing your cookie choice. No consent required.
- Analytics / Statistics: privacy-friendly, pseudonymous audience measurement. Only after consent.
- Functional / Comfort: optional comfort features (e.g. language setting). Only after consent, unless necessary.

For audience measurement we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — only after your consent to the “Analytics” category. Without consent the script is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. IP addresses are truncated (IP anonymisation). Transfers to the USA cannot be excluded; they are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time (section 5).
5. Manage consent
Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. You can adjust your choice at any time via the Cookie settings (link in the footer) or delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may limit the functionality of the website.
6. Third parties
Where optional services set cookies, these are carefully selected processors. Details of the service providers used (including payment service providers, hosting/CDN, analytics) can be found in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
